Live Web Cam From My Office / Radio Shack

Well, after being a ham for twenty years, I finally have an HF station on the air.  I'm using a Yaesu FT-897 with a LnR End-Fed dipole tuned for 40 and 20 meters.  The antenna is about thirty feet above the ground.  I'm very happy with both products.

I've also found quite a few friendly nets on HF.  My favorite is the Norcars net on 7.197.5 MHz.  Really nice folks, easy to join, and no dues.  Check them out starting about 8:00 am eastern time.

I'm also starting to learn about digital communications on HF.  I'm experimenting with PSK31.  I'm using Digipan software and a SignaLink USB modem.  I made my first dx contact with F6ECI in France yesterday afternoon.

I'm getting behind in learning Morse Code.  Need to start that again.

That's it for now,
