This is what's left of the Cunard Wharf in East Boston, Mass. It was here, in 1913, that my grandfather James McDonough came to America. He came on RMS Laconia that landed on 19 June 1913.
Just shows how times progress but to me it is always with a heavy heart that i view these type of things. I wrote an extensive historical research document on my local village and it saddens me when so called development takes over sometimes for the worst.
